Generally a good, reliable place to grocery shop and pick up household goods. The downside is that the grocery section is fairly "bare bones" (limited international section). Overall, it's a convenient one-stop shop.

A convenience store to buy all what you need from electronics to grocery to kitchen wares to name a few

I found a great deal on patio chair cushions! Great prices also for the necessary things for daily living! Good produce selection besides the other groceries.

Like any Walmart it has almost everything a person needs from automotive to groceries. This Walmart is lacking staff. Wait times are often quite long in the cash out lines. On paydays stock levels get pretty scarce.

I have been to at least four different Walmart's in Saskatchewan. One in Regina, two in Saskatoon and finally this one in Yorkton. I have to state that the level of difference in the overall quality of this Walmart compared to the ones in the big city is staggering. Ome issue is stock. Whenever they have particular items on sale, they rarely have it stocked. More with medical, bathroom, DIY and home departments. Grocery usually stays on top. It's a long enough drive for me to get there and I went their four saturdays in a row with one item in particular in mind and it was never there. One other issue is staff availability. There is very few of them scattered around the store and when you do find one they usually tell you it's not their department. Another really big issue is the tills. When this walmart is heaving with customers and there is lines going back to the aisles, they will have four or five tills open out of twenty. They will shout all till trained staff up front and no one turns up. I'm not sure if this is down to poor management or unwilling staff or no one being trained but for how long this has gone on for I hoped there would be improvements but there has been little. The one good thing is that it's a good store for variety in groceries. But date rotation is poor. One day I was looking for bread. I checked the dates and an entire shelf was three days past it's due date. This was two or three years ago though. For grocery shopping and other little things like clothes and entertainment the store is good. They do need to improve on some service though. Tills for sure. I'm not one for bad reviews. I hope if they read this it will give them the kick they need to be the store people expect them to be.
