I wouldn't recommend dealing with Robyn, she's rude, unorganized, and lazy! Worst experience with her. Thank goodness they have a new face in the office. Tori was polite, helpful and professional! You would think if they want better reviews, they would get rid of the trash (Robyn)!
DO NOT RENT FROM AVENUE LIVING LTD. We lived with cockroaches for 5 months, it got the the point where we couldn't even use the kitchen. This was the major issue but there were several other issues we had. We had to sever our lease by going through the ORT (office of residential tenancies) they are a great asset for anyone having issues with Avenue living. I didn't argue with how long it took to get my damage deposit back, I was just relieved to get out of that dump. But just an FYI in Saskatchewan the law is that your damage deposit has to be returned withing 7 buisness days, or if it's not the land Lord has to give you a reason why within that time frame.
Quite frustrating. My main problem with Avenue Living actually had nothing to do with living there, but sadly after I left. It's been two months after I left my rental unit and I still haven't received my bloody security deposit yet. Now I'm running around like a chicken with his head cut off calling and emailing to try and get it back. I honestly feel that they are stealing from me.I know that if you're planning to move to Yorkton, Avenue Living controls all the rental suites, so just be cautious when renting one.Edit: after two months I ended up getting the deposit back, oddly the check was dated two months before. So it seems that they wrote the check and just did not send it, maybe hoping that I wouldn't go after it... quite strange.
I have had a positive experience so far. I have called for maintenance issues and usually taken care of quickly. Rent price is reasonable for what I make. Cheers
